Credo #16: The paralysis

Posted: April 22, 2013 in Credo

If you are seeking after Him and finding Him; if you are being obedient in putting down the old nature and seeking to hear Him, this will be the primary tactic of your adversary:   To paralyze you.    He may only be able to do this in some part of your life; or maybe in more than one; but this will assuredly be your enemy’s tactic.   PARALYSIS.     This does not mean that ‘movement’ is always good.   But your adversary will either seek to have to come to believe there is no movement or that ‘movement’ is not possible in that spot.    It is worth considering, to extend Paul’s metaphor of the body (are you all eyes …?) a bit; that this applies to community life with other believers as well.
